Event Details

The 40th annual Scarecrow Weekend will be held October 10th-12th in downtown St. Charles, Illinois.

120+ handmade scarecrows will be showcased around town for visitors to view and vote on their favorites. There will be a Family Zone with live entertainment and family fun as well as an Activity Zone with festive photo ops, Scarecrow-to-Go and family activities. Attendees can also enjoy live entertainment on the 1st Street Plaza throughout the weekend, too!

While visiting, make sure to treat yourself to many sales, specials, and events throughout town including the Autumn on the Fox Craft Show in Pottawatomie Park.

Pickup will be between October 22nd - 24th at the St. Charles Municipal Building (2 E. Main Street St. Charles, IL 60174).
Please call ahead when planning to pick up at (630) 443-3967. Hours of City Hall are 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
No late orders will be accepted. No shipping options available.

Just Kabobs and Taco Urbano will be selling food in the Lincoln Park Family Zone, and Windy Acres Farm will be selling fall treats in the Riverside Activity Zone. The St. Charles Rotary and Franklins Hot Dogs will also be selling food in the front Municipal Building Parking Lot. There will be a handful of local businesses that will be offering to-go/handheld options, as well. Visitors can also find various food trucks at the Autumn on the Fox Craft Show at Pottawatomie Park.
