Scarecrow Weekend is an award-winning event and a community favorite St. Charles tradition since 1985. What began as a small fall festival featuring just 39 scarecrows and drawing an estimated 10,000 visitors quickly grew in popularity. By it's fifth year in 1989, the event had more than doubled in size, showcasing 80 scarecrows and attracting more than 40,000 attendees.

Today, Scarecrow Weekend has evolved into a three-day community celebration, featuring more than 110 unique scarecrows and welcoming over 80,000 visitors from near and far. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment, family-friendly activities, delicious food, festive fall attractions, and more - making it a highlight of the season for both locals and visitors across the country.
