Will there be food?

Accepted Answer

Just Kabobs and Taco Urbano will be selling food in the Lincoln Park Family Zone, and Windy Acres Farm, Arcada Theatre, and Franklins Hot Dogs will be selling fall treats in the Riverside Activity Zone. There will be a handful of local businesses that will be offering to-go/handheld options, as well. Visitors can also find various food trucks at the Autumn on the Fox Craft Show at Pottawatomie Park.

Will there be carnival rides?

Accepted Answer

There will be no carnival at Scarecrow Weekend. However, there will be a Family Zone with live entertainment and many free family-friendly activities such as Pumpkin Bowling! There will also be more free family-friendly activities in the Activity Zone including an Inflatable Corn Maze, Pumpkin Painting, and a Rock Climbing Wall, and much more.

How much is Scarecrow-to-Go?

Accepted Answer

$15 per box. Each bag will include panty hose, twine, an outfit, straw to stuff the scarecrow and directions.

Where are the bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

There are portable restrooms at Lincoln Park and on the east side of the Municipal Building on Riverside Avenue. The Municipal Building is located at 2 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL 60174. There will also be portable restrooms on the South Wall of Smallcakes at 117 W. Main St., St. Charles, IL 60174.

Every year, Scarecrow Weekend takes place on the Friday through Sunday of Columbus Day Weekend.
